Seminar topics included lawn care, home maintenance and decorating on a budget, all led by Home Depot team members who were on hand for one-on-one questions afterwards

Following the sessions, homeowners had the chance to use TCHP's Donor Dollars to "shop" for tools, accessories and home decor items that were donated by national retailers.

"Home Depot is the premiere source for home improvement supplies and education," said Donna Van Ness, president of TCHP. "We were thrilled to give our clients the chance to discover the Home Depot products and services that can help them be successful homeowners. TCHP is proud to continue to partner with such an outstanding member of our community."

TCHP administers and provides education for local programs (funded in part by federal and local government) that help hard-working Tarrant County residents of moderate incomes make a first home purchase. These programs can include down payment or closing cost assistance, access to homes at below-market prices, and homeowner education. Read more
