Homebuyer Financial Assistance

As part of our mission to make quality, affordable housing available to hard-working community members, Tarrant County Housing Partnership administers a number of programs that provide down payment, closing cost or principle reduction assistance for homebuyers of lower and moderate incomes.

This assistance is coupled with homebuyer education that will help prospective homeowners learn more about the process of purchasing a home and what it takes to sustain a lifetime of successful homeownership. (Minimally, completion of TCHP’s orientation class is required to be considered for assistance. Learn more.)

Other eligibility requirements vary by program and some financial assistance programs are limited to a specific property or city.

Important note: The TCHP Orientation Class is the first step in the application process. The homebuyer training workshop follows next, and is required to participate in the financial assistance programs. A TCHP housing advisor can provide additional information. View a class schedule.
